Mr. Sarriera has over 33 years of experience in management and supervision of projects and personnel. This includes 3 years in ecological research; 8 years experience as an U.S. Army Officer, where he conducted chemical and radiological emergency response and clean-up operations; 5 years experience in the management and supervision of environmental laboratory operations, 4 years experience in statistical process quality control and equipment and/or process validation and 13 years experience as an environmental consultant. He is well versed and knowledgeable of Federal, Puerto Rico and European Community environmental, health and safety regulations. Mr. Sarriera is also a seasoned administrator, competent in the areas of personnel, purchasing, accounting, equipment and facilities maintenance, property accountability, and automated data processing systems. His experience includes planning and managing projects from simple permitting projects to large complex infrastructure projects. He is skilled in environmental analytical methodology and sampling procedures for oil, water and hazardous waste matrices, laboratory sample management and analytical quality assurance programs. His experience includes hazardous chemical and radiological emergency response operations, chemical and radiological risk assessment, radiological safety, transportation and security of hazardous chemicals and/or radioactive materials. As principal of ACE Environmental Consultants, Inc. and EH&S Consultants, Inc. he has prepared numerous environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, facilities permit applications and has conducted environmental, health and safety training for industry, municipal governments and legal professionals.
